Luis Andrés Bredlow has a diploma in Social Sciences from the Faculty of Theology of Barcelona and a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Barcelona; since 2003, he is professor of History of Philosophy at the same university. He has published the poetry books La ribera invisible (Barcelona, 1989) and Limbario de aturdimientos (ib., 1995), numerous collaborations in philosophy and thought magazines (Archipiélago, Manía, Convivium, Invarianti) and articles in specialized publications on classical philology, as well as translations by German, English, French and Italian authors. He is also the author of a new annotated translation of the Lives of the Philosophers by Diogenes Laertius, forthcoming.
