Luis Arturo Ramos

He was born in Minatitlán, Veracruz, on November 9, 1947. Narrator and essayist. He studied Spanish Letters at the Universidad Veracruzana. He has been a teacher at UNAM and the University of Texas at El Paso. Director of the collection Cuadernos del Caballo Verde; director of publications of the UV; director of The Word and The Man. Collaborator of Cosmos, Dialogues, El Cuento, El Caracol Marino, Kaleidoscopio, La Gaceta del FCE, Manatí, Recent Books in Mexico, Mexican Magazine of Culture, Critical Text and Tierra Adentro. Fellow of the CME, 1972; of the INBA, in narrative, 1976. National Prize for Narrative Colima for Published Work 1980 by Violeta-Peru.
