Marco Missiroli (Rimini, 1981) has published Senza coda (2005), with which he won the Campiello prize for best Opera Prima, Il buio addosso (2007) and Bianco, winner of the Comisso prize and the Tondelli prize. He lives in Milan, where he works as editor-in-chief at a psychology magazine. He also collaborates regularly with the culture section of Corriere della Sera and Vanity Fair magazine. The fate of the elephant has been awarded the Campiello-Giuria dei letterati, Vigevano-Lucio Mastronardi and Bergamo prizes, and will soon be translated and published in seven countries.
