María José Rossi has a PhD in Philosophy from the Università degli studi di Torino (Italy). She is a Regular Adjunct Professor and Researcher at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She is the author of the book El cine como texto. Towards a hermeneutics of the movement-image. First Prize, Topía International Essay Book Contest (2007), as well as numerous articles on her specialty: philosophical hermeneutics and German idealism. She is director of the UBACyT project "Hermeneutics of texts for the teaching of philosophy and research in human and social sciences" and of the International Conference on Hermeneutics (biannual meeting).
