What is Topia?
Topía Revista has been published since 1991 in Buenos Aires, Argentina three times a year (April, August and November). It is proposed as a space for reflection where psychoanalysis, by not pretending to become a worldview, can be found in a fruitful dialogue with society and culture, involving different disciplines and approaches. This is how different perspectives coexist that do not imply eclecticism. On the contrary, they are a way of building critical thinking that can account for the problems that the subject is currently going through in our culture.
Topía Revista is not subordinated to any public or private institution, nor to different theoretical groups. Debate, dissent and plurality are the axis of Topía, as a search for hope based, according to Spinoza, on passionate reason.
