Mariana Bernárdez Zapata

He was born in Mexico City on December 25, 1964. Poet and essayist. He studied Communication Sciences at the Universidad Anáhuac and completed a master's degree in Modern Letters, a doctorate and a Master's degree in Philosophy at the Universidad Iberoamericana. He has participated in several national and international literary meetings, and in programs on stations such as Radio Educación, Código DF or Radio UNAM. He has given multiple lectures at book fairs, Casa del Lago, Casa Universitaria del Libro, Casa del Poeta, El Péndulo, Iconographic Museum of Guanajuato, Casa de América Latina in Portugal, CCLXV, Universidad Iberoamericana, among others. He has been a teacher in the university open circuit and at the graduate level. He has collaborated in Altertexto, Biblioteca de México, Casa del Tiempo, Castálida, Cantera Verde, Expansión, Este País, La Jornada Semanal, La Otra Revista, Personal Computing México, Poetry Newspaper, Philosophical Signs, Magazine of the University of Mexico, among others. His work has been translated into Catalan, English, Italian, Portuguese and Romanian.
