Mario Montalbetti (Lima, 1953) is one of the poets of Spanish language highlights of today. He holds a PhD in Linguistics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was student of Noam Chomsky. In 2013 the publishing Aldvs met the seven books that until then formed the entirety of his poetry in the volume Away from me tell you. His essays collected were published by the FCE in 2014 in the book Every man is an island. He is a founding member of the editorial board of the journal Bone Humerus and Principal Professor of Linguistics at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru.
