Mauricio Molina

Maurice Molina. He was born in Mexico City on April 11, 1959. He died on June 13, 2021. Narrator and essayist. He studied Hispanic Language and Literature at the FFyL of UNAM. He was a professor of courses and workshops at the UIA and the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana; head of the Live Voice Department at UNAM; editor-in-chief of the Journal of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He collaborates with Biblioteca de México, El Ángel, El Nacional, El Sol de México, La Cultura en México, Letras Libres, Luna Córnea, Sabado, Siempre!, and Vuelta. Conaculta Scholar, 1990. Member of the SNCA since 2004. Starting Point Prize for Poetry 1982. José Rubén Romero National Novel Prize 1991 for Zona veda (published as Lunar Time).
