Michel Rabagliati (Montreal, 1961) grows reading the classics of the Franco-Belgian cartoon, but ends up dedicating himself to graphic design and commercial illustration. However, at the age of 36, he takes up his hobby and publishes the first adventures of Paul in the Canadian publishing house La Pastèque. Despite the lateness of his vocation, has so far published seven volumes of the series Paul, for which he has received the Grand Prize of Comic of Quebec City and a Doug Wright in the category of best book; Paul in Quebec was selected in 2010 by the International Festival of Comics of Angoulême and won the prize of the public of that same edition of the festival.
