Professor of Philosophy at the Universidad Diego Portales (Santiago de Chile). He graduated in Philosophy at the University of Navarra with honors and a doctorate in philosophy at the University of Barcelona under the direction of Miguel Angel Granada and History at the University of the Basque Country. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institut für Cusanus-Forschung of the University of Trier. He has been Visiting Scholar at the University of Cambridge, the Calabrian, of Buenos Aires and the Catholic University of Chile. It has three major lines of research: the philosophical thought of the Renaissance and the early modern; reception in the Hispanic world of Italian culture during the Golden Age, and political thought of the twentieth century Spanish and reactionary. He has published translations and critical editions of Telesio and Hobbes and Machiavelli academic monograph (2012). He is the author of more than ten articles in international and national journals ISI and regular contributor to Revista de Occidente.
