Mo Hayder (Essex, United Kingdom) did the most diverse jobs and has a degree in Cinematography from the American University in Washington DC and in Creative Writing from the University of Bath Spa. He currently lives on the outskirts of Bath. She has been awarded the most prestigious prizes for the black genre, including the Crime Writers' Association Daggers, and dedicates all her time to writing. His first novel, The Birdman Case, begins the hit series starring Inspector Jack Caffery and has become an international bestseller.
