Nicolas Bourriaud

Writer, art critic and French curator, born in 1965, Nicolas Bourriaud was director of the Palais de Tokyo (Paris). Founder of the magazine Documents sur l "art (1992-97), and co-founder of the literary magazine perpendiculaire, published by Flammarion Michalon and publishers.
He was curator of the French Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (1990); Aperto at the same Biennial (1993) and in galleries and cultural centers in Paris, New York, Freiburg and San Francisco, among other cities.
Alongside Sans was artistic director of the Biennale de Lyon (2005). He is currently a curator at the Tate Britain in London, where he organized the Fourth Triennial in 2009 Author of novels and essays, among the latter stand Post Production (AH 2004, reissued in 2006 and 2009), and "Relational Aesthetics" (AH 2006, reprinted 2008), which have generated a great impact and influence on the world of art and culture.
