Nicolás Cabral was born in Córdoba, Argentina, in 1975. The son of exiles, he arrived in Mexico City a year later, where he currently lives. Trained as an architect, he is the editor of the arts magazine La Tempestad. His essays and stories have appeared in various anthologies, including México20. New Voices, Old Tradition (Pushkin Press, 2015). His first book, the novel Catalogue of Forms, was published by Periférica in 2014, with an excellent critical reception. Las moradas is his first collection of stories.
