Noemí López Trujillo. Bilbao (Spain), 1988. Reporter and feminist, both thanks to her mother, Lourdes, a domestic worker. López has written since she was little inspired by her father, José María, who declared himself to Lourdes by letter, although she has been doing it professionally since 2011, after graduating in Journalism from the Carlos III University of Madrid. Since then, she has been through the newsrooms of various media such as ABC, 20minutos and El Español, and she has collaborated regularly in eldiario.es, La Marea and El País. She has also published in other media such as El Confidencial, Jot Down and El País Semanal, and has directed her own section in the radio programs Un alto en el camino (Onda Cero, 2018) and La Ventana (Cadena Ser, 2019) . In December 2017 she published on the Podium Podcast (Radio Prisa) I met him in a Corpus, a sound documentary that investigates the murder of Ana Orantes twenty years after the sexist crime. In November of that same year, she won the Young Journalism Award on Gender Violence awarded by the Institute of Youth of Spain (Injuve), for her reports on sexist violence in El Español. López is also the co-author of the book Volveremos. Oral memory of those who left during the crisis (2016). She currently writes reports on social issues, always from a gender perspective, for the production company and agency Newtral.
