He is Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Universities of Genoa and Lucerne. He has focused in recent years on issues of legal bioethics (La morte della nell'età technical: ethics and thanatology Lineamenti di giuridica, 2004; finisce Quando la vita: la morale e il fronte alla morte di diritto, 2009), but he is also the author of several essays on philosophy of law and one of the greatest Italian experts in the works of Hegel and Hans Jonas (Hans Jonas: A prophyll, 2010). His commitment to the positions defended in this text has led him to perform multiple interventions both in seminars and public lectures and some of the most important newspapers published in Italy
