Pascal Bruckner (Paris, 1948) is a philosopher, essayist and novelist. A prolific writer, among his works of fiction include Bitter Moon, and between his essays The new love disorder (with Alain Finkielkraut), The temptation of innocence, Misery of prosperity or The tyranny of penance.
