Doctor and master's degree in Philosophy from the University of Comillas. Master in Social Philosophy and graduate in Philosophy and Social Sciences from the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Studies (ITESO). Graduate in Theological Sciences from the Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City campus (UIA).

He is a professor at the Department of Philosophy and Humanities (DFiH) of ITESO, where he teaches the History of Philosophy I, Metaphysics and Philosophy of Religion courses at the Bachelor's level in Philosophy and Social Sciences.

In addition to his teaching activity at ITESO, Dr. Reyes is the formation assistant of the Provincial in the Mexican Province of the Society of Jesus and editorial director of the theology and human sciences magazine, Christus.
