Peggy Avez holds a doctorate and is a qualified teacher of philosophy. She leads philosophy workshops and lectures and writes a website, www.simoneetlesphilosophes.fr, where she blends philosophy and feminism. She also conducts research on the links between norms and emotions within the UMR Savoirs, textes, langage laboratory in Lille. Her doctoral thesis, devoted to the idea of ​​freedom and the mechanisms of voluntary servitude, was published in March 2017 by Publications de la Sorbonne (L'envers de la liberté. Une approche historique et dialectique).
