Pep Bruno Galán (Barcelona, Spain, May 18, 1971) is a Spanish short story writer and writer of children's literature. He was born in Barcelona and has lived since he was seven years old in Guadalajara (Spain). Graduated in Hispanic Philology and in Theory of Literature and Comparative Literature and Diploma in Social Work, since 1994 he has based his professional career on literary creation and storytelling. He has promoted and participated in countless events and festivals of oral narration and has participated in the organization of the Marathon of the Tales of Guadalajara between 1994 and 2007.

In 2005 he launched the publishing house Palabras del Candil, specializing in books by oral storytellers.
