Peter Trawny (Gelsenkirchen, 1964) is a professor at the University of Wuppertal and founder and director of Martin Heidegger Institute at the same institution. He has been invited to universities and research centers in Austria, Japan and China professor.
Specialist Heidegger's work, performed research stays at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg and has been editor of several volumes of both the complete works of this author, including the recently published black notebooks.
He is also the author of studies on the work of Ernst Junger and Hannah Arendt, among others.
