Peter Herrera. He was born in 1988 in Morelia, Michoacán. Essayist and poet. He has a degree in Hispanic Literature from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, a master's degree in Mexican Literature from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and a doctorate in Humanities from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Iztapalapa. He has worked as an editor, programmer and researcher. He has collaborated in Tierra Adentro, Cut Out Fest and Jámpster (Chile). Fellow of the Foundation for Mexican Letters, periods 2014-2015 and 2015-2016. Michoacán Prize for Literature 2012, BUAP University Essay Prize 2013 and María Zambrano Essay Prize 2014. His texts are part of the anthology The fly in the canon (Alejandro Lámbarry, Tierra Adentro Editorial Fund, 2014).
