Pilar Gonzalbo Aizpuru is a Master and Doctor in History from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, professor-researcher at the Center for Historical Studies of El Colegio de México, emeritus researcher of the National System of Researchers and National Prize for Sciences and Arts 2007.

Dr. Gonzalbo's interests focus on topics related to cultural history: family, women, education, daily life and feelings. They are referred to by the nine books of her personal authorship and more than twenty of her as editor or coordinator of collective works in which she has worked together with the group that has collaborated for more than two decades in the life history seminar everyday.
