Ramón Cotarelo García (Madrid, 1943), is Professor of Political Science and Administration at the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology of the National University of Distance Education, of which he was Vice Chancellor between 1984 and 1988. He is the author of 145 articles in specialized Spanish and foreign journals and has translated into Spanish several classical and contemporary authors, including Norbert Elias, Georg Simmel or Jürgen Habermas. Regular contributor to the media, in which he has published more than a thousand newspaper articles, is currently part of the Editorial Board of the Public newspaper.
