Raquel Chang-Rodríguez

Distinguished Professor of Hispanic Literature and Culture at The City College of New York Graduate Study Center, where she chaired the Department of Foreign Languages ​​and Literatures. She has taught at Colgate University and Columbia University as a Visiting Professor. He has participated in teaching seminars at the Universidad de la Laguna, Universidad Complutense, Universidad de Málaga and Universidad de Marburgo. President twice (1985-87; 1997-2000) of the International Institute of Ibero-American Literature. His research focuses on colonial literature with concentration in the Andean and Mexican areas. He founded in 1992 the Colonial Latin American Review, a magazine dedicated to the study of the colonial era from an interdisciplinary perspective and awarded by the Council of Editors of Learned Journal. In 2002 the National University of San Marcos incorporated her as an Honorary Professor, as well as being an Honorary Associate of the Hispanic Society of America.
