Raúl Alzogaray

He was born in Lanús. He has a degree and a PhD in Biology from the University of Buenos Aires. He works as an associate professor in the Master in Pest Control and its Environmental Impact (National University of San Martín). He is a CONICET researcher and works at the Center for Pest and Insecticide Research (CIPEIN-CITEDEF). His area of work is the biology and toxicology of insects that transmit diseases to humans. Since 1998, he writes for Futuro, the science supplement for the newspaper Página / 12. He is also the author of the following popular science books: History of Cells, The Elixir of Death, You will not eat your neighbor and Rivers of Blood.
