Raúl Fornet Betancourt

Born in Cuba, is a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Aachen and Salamanca. He received his Ph.D. in enabling the University of Bremen, where he plays his teaching. He is director of the Latin America Department of the Institute of Missiology in Aachen, whose university is Professor Emeritus. Director Concordia. International Journal of Philosophy and Program Coordinator Philosophical Dialogue North-South as well as the International Congress of Intercultural Philosophy, is also permanent guest professor at several universities in Latin America and a member of the Société Européenne de Culture. Author of numerous works, which include Introduction to Sartre (1989), Studies in Latin American philosophy (1992), José Martí (1998), Marxism 0 na Latin America (1995), intercultural transformation of philosophy (2001) and Inter and philosophy in Latin America (2003), is also editor of resistance and solidarity volumes. Capitalist globalization and release (2003) and intercultural Critique of current Latin American Philosophy (2004), published in this same Publisher.
