Ricardo Cartas Figueroa

Dr. Ricardo Cartas Figueroa (Puebla, 1978) holds a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Hispanic Literature from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at BUAP (Autonomous University of Puebla). He earned a Master's degree in Ibero-American Literature from the Ibero-American University-Puebla and a Doctorate in Latin American Literature from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at BUAP. He has taught at the Emiliano Zapata Preparatory School, where he also served as Academic Secretary. He currently teaches in the Film Studies program at the School of Visual and Audiovisual Arts. His professional life has been spent in the classroom and in the media, particularly public radio. In this field, he serves as Director of Radio BUAP and hosts the science and culture program "De eso se trata" (That's What It's About).
