Rogelio Guedea

(Mexico, 1974) is one of the most important Mexican authors of the last decades, as evidenced by the awards he has received in various literary fields, in which he has known how to display a personal and characteristic voice, capable of escaping from the trite and the trivial to achieve levels of high excellence. Graduated in Law from the University of Colima and Doctor of Letters from the University of Córdoba, with a POST-DOC in Latin American Literature from Texas A&M University (USA), he was a fellow of the Fund for Culture and the Arts on three occasions and director from the poetry collection “El pez de fuego”. He is the author, among others, of the collections of poems "Kora" (Adonais Award 2008) and "Mientras olvido" (International Rosalía de Castro Award 2001); and of the novels "Driving a trailer" (Silverio Cañada Memorial Award 2009), "The bad move" and "The crime of the Tepames" (Random House Mondadori).
