Rolando Toro

Rolando Toro Araneda. Poet, painter, teacher and psychologist. He is the creator of Biodanza, a human integration system based on music, dance and meeting situations that he reflected in his successful book Biodanza where he exposes the foundations of his system, which is practiced all over the world. Biocentric educator in schools, farms and colleges, he was also a professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Chile, in Medical Anthropology, during the years 1960-1970 and, in addition, he served as a professor in the chair of Aesthetics at the University Catholic He was invited to numerous universities in America, Europe and Africa to present his thoughts. In 2001 he was nominated to apply for the Nobel Peace Prize for his work in Biodanza and Biocentric Education at the Casa de América, Madrid, Spain
