Ronaldo Correia de Brito

Ronaldo Correia de Brito was born in Ceará, in 1951 and lives in Recife, two cities in northeastern Brazil. He is a physician and writer, author of two books of stories, Shanker (2003) and Livro of Men (2005), and plays. In 2007 he won a scholarship as a resident writer at the University of Berkeley in California. Galilee, which in 2009 won the award for best literary book awarded by the city of San Pablo, is his first novel.
