Rosa Del Olmo, born in Barcelona, ​​daughter of a judge of the Republic and a leader of the Communist Party. He studied sociology at the University of Wisconsin (USA), he graduated in Criminology, University of Cambridge and earned his PhD in Social Sciences at the Central University of Venezuela. There he taught, and at universities in Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United States.He worked at the Ministry of Justice of Venezuela in various positions. She was director of the Institute of Criminal Science and Criminology Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the Central University of Venezuela.
