Salvador Pániker

Salvador Pániker (Barcelona, 1927) son of a Catalan mother and a Hindu father is a writer, philosopher and industrial engineer doctor. Professor of Philosophy and Metaphysics at the University of Barcelona, he created the philosophical concept of "retroprogression". His book Conversations in Madrid and in Catalonia became a classic of the interview genre. In addition, he is the author of The difficulty of being Spanish, Approximation to the origin, First testament, Second memory, Philosophy and mysticism, Yellow notebook, Variations 95, Journal of autumn and Diary of the disabled old man. He is president of the Right to Dignitarily Association and has dedicated many of his reflections to the subject of death. He is the founder of the publishing house Kairós.
