He studied mathematics at UNAM and a doctorate in educational policy, leadership, and pedagogical practice at Harvard University. He has written numerous articles on educational change and has been a co-author or co-editor of several collective works; Unlocking learning is her first book. In Mexico he collaborated closely with Mentoring Networks, the project that introduced him to the field of deep learning. He currently heads the research area in Michael Fullan's consulting team.
