Sergio Hernandez Galindo was born in Mexico 1956. He completed his graduate studies at El Colegio de Mexico where he began to study the situation of the Nikkei beside Professor Maria Elena Ota. He is currently professor-researcher at the National Institute of Anthropology and History where he has made a thorough investigation of the concentreación of Mexicans Japanese at the outbreak of World War II migrants. On this subject it highlights his article called The internal war against the Japanese in the journal Anthropological Dimension. He has also collaborated on the publication of articles for the newsletter of the Mexico-Japanese Association
