Severo Sarduy (Camagüey, February 25, 1937-Paris, June 8, 1993), was a Cuban narrator, poet, journalist, literature and art critic. His style is related to that of José Lezama Lima and Cabrera Infante, although he also has points of contact with the Tel Quel group in Paris.
