Sheila Scarton is professor of Feminist Studies at Leeds Metropolitan University: He began his teaching career as a physical education teacher at a high school before you start your research for a doctoral thesis on gender and physical education. Currently teaches sociology and leisure studies and director of a master program on Leisure and Human Potential. He has received many publications relating to the fields of gender and physical education and feminist analyzes of sport and leisure.
