Stephanie Graf studied International Development at the University of Vienna, Austria, graduating in 2011 with a thesis on the Political Subject in the Mexican Maquiladora Industry. She finished her master's degree in Latin American Studies from the National Autonomous University of Mexico with studies on anti-Semitic discourse in Mexico. She obtained her PhD in Political and Moral Philosophy at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana with a thesis on T. W: Adorno and W. Benjamin under the supervision of Dr. María Pía Lara. She carried out research stays in Buenos Aires, Argentina and at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Within her research fields are Critical Theory, Marxism, Psychoanalysis, Political Theology and German-Jewish thought and literature. She currently teaches at the University of Vienna and is part of the research project Membership Metaphors as Doorkeepers for the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) at the University of Innsbruck.
