Thomas Glavinic

(Vienna, 1972) started writing at the age of 26, after working as a taxi driver. His first novel Carl Haffners Liebe zum Unentschieden (Carl Haffners' love of the tie) was voted "Book of the Year" by the Daily Telegraph and translated into several languages. In 2001 his novel Der Kameramörder (The Camera Killer) won the most important German crime novel award, the Friedrich-Glauser-Krimipreis.
