Thomas Ibanez. (Zaragoza, 1944) son of libertarian exiles in France, he formed and militated in anarchist student and youth circles from which he promoted the creation of the circulated «A» that would become universal as an icon of the anarchist movement. He actively participates in the anti-Francoist and revolutionary struggle of the Libertarian Youth (FIJL) as well as in the French May 68 and in the reconstruction of the CNT. He was a professor of Social Psychology at the UAB. His writings have always been interested in reinterpreting anarchism as a versatile, changing and, above all, necessary entity. Along these lines, he has published Why A? Scattered fragments for an anarchism without dogmas (Anthropos, 2006), Anarchism is movement (Virus, 2014), as well as countless articles in diverse magazines in French, Italian and Spanish.
