Ulf P. Lundgren holds a PhD from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. In 1973 he was appointed Professor of Education and Psychology at the University of Aalborg, Denmark. From 1975 to 1990 he was Head of the Department of Educational Policy Studies and Cultural Reproduction Stockholm Institute of Education, becoming Rector of the same in 1990 he has been appointed Director General of Education in 1991 His latest book, Evaluation as Policy Making, written with Marit Granheim and Maurice Kogan, was published by Jessica Kingsley Publishing in London in 1990; The Spanish edition will appear soon published by the Ministry of Education and Science.
