Víctor Manuel Soria-Murillo (Guadalajara, Jal., 1934) is a Public Accountant from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara (1955), he obtained the Master's Degree (1968) and the Doctorate (1972) in Economics at the Department of Economics at the University of Colorado in Boulder, USA. He studied Human Resources Administration in the ICAME Program, at the Graduate School of Business Administration at Stanford University, USA. He attended the Instructional Methods Seminar at the University of Idaho, Boise, USA. He carried out research stays at the Center d'Etudes Prospectives d' Economie Mathematique Apliquées à la Planning, Paris, France; in the General Archive of the Indies, Seville, Spain, and in the GREITD, of the University of Paris XIII, Paris, France.
