Vito Fumagalli

Vito Fumagalli (Parma, 1938 - 1997) was an Italian medievalist historian who dealt with very diverse historical disciplines: the history of institutions, economic and social history, the history of culture and the history of mentalities.

He studied at the Bedonia seminary and then at the Superior Normal School and at the University of Pisa, after winning a prize for students (1957). He does his thesis on Geraldo d'Aurillac (1961). He professor at the University of Bologna. Deputy for the center-left in 1994.
