William Davies - is a sociologist, analyst of economics and politics and a professor at Goldsmiths, University of London. He collaborates with the publications New Left Review, Prospect and Financial Times. In addition to The Happiness Industry, he is the author of The Limits of Neoliberalism: Authority, Sovereignty and The Logic of Competition.
