He was born in Mexico City on February 13, 1960. Essayist. He has a degree and a teacher in Sociology and a doctorate in Political Science from the unam. He is a full-time professor and researcher at the National Pedagogical University. He won the 2002 Alfonso Reyes National Essay Award for Power in front of the letters. Republican vicissitudes (1994-2001), and First Prize Mauricio Achar for an Essay on promoting reading in 2006 with the text Abonando la utopía.
