Ximo Abadía

Ximo Abadía was born in 1983 in Alicante, but at the age of eighteen he left for Madrid. From childhood he is interested in drawing and reading comics, especially Franco-Belgian comics, superheroes and underground magazines such as El Vibora.
In 2009 he published his first graphic novel, Colored Cards, to be followed in 2011 by Clonk (for which he was nominated as a revelation author at the Barcelona Comic Fair and was selected among the best graphic novels of the year by the Los Angeles Times) And The bipolarity of chocolate. In 2012 he was a finalist of the International Graphic Novel Award Fnac - Sins Entido with La puerta amarilla, which would see the light in 2014. In 2013 he published Bacon and Friends with script by Josep Busquet and the album De mayor quiero ser pequeño.
