Ediciones del Lirio S.A. de C.V. is a company primarily focused on the production of printed materials associated with the publishing industry.
It began as a project in the late 1990s and was formally incorporated in 1998. Behind that initiative, however, lies the foundation of our previous experience working in the industry, across its various production lines.
From its very beginning, our company has found service to higher education institutions conducive, based both on their needs and the profile of our offering: from the manuscript to the finished product, encompassing all stages. The UAM and UNAM have been our focus, both for what they represent as a labor market and for our affinity with the spirit of the substantive functions of both institutions. Other institutions with which we currently work include: the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, the National School of Anthropology and History, the University of Guanajuato, CIESAS, the Meritorious Autonomous University of Puebla, and the Autonomous University of Nayarit, among others.
In this vein, the growth of Ediciones del Lirio has been aimed at best meeting the expectations of the combined efforts involved in creating books as a vehicle for disseminating knowledge.
We have undertaken relatively comprehensive projects, such as the production of the magazine Signos for the Philosophy Department of the UAM Iztapalapa, for which we have been responsible for over ten years, starting with its production and editing, as well as the co-publishing of various books published by this department. We also produce books for the CCH collections, textbooks for the University Extension Coordinations of the Iztapalapa and Xochimilco units, and we currently produce books for the General Rector's Office of the UAM, among others. At UNAM, we work with the Faculty of Political Sciences and Social Studies, CISAN, the College of Sciences and Humanities, among other institutions.
Today, our publications range from poetry, short stories, novels, science and technology, avant-garde movements, and music, among others.
