Limonero is an independent Argentine label dedicated, determined and even stubborn in publishing and disseminating the illustrated book. Founded in 2014 by Lulu Kirschenbaum and Manuel Rud, it seeks to publish imaginative and innovative works both from the point of view of illustration and in its literary aspects. Throughout these years of existence, Limonero set out to shape a catalog of titles that it considers essential for small and large readers, guided by the nuclear idea of bringing the album book to readers of all ages.

Among other awards and mentions, Limonero has received the prestigious BOP Prize in 2019, an award for the Best Publisher in Latin America, awarded by the Bologna Children's Book Fair.
