This edited volume analyzes the recent impact of globalization on gender relations, specifically in the Americas. The various chapters address diverse topics such as gender violence, women's social struggles, the new geographies of the female body, the expression of femicide in artivism, the lives of Indigenous women in Mexico, the decolonization struggle of Bolivian men and women, the social protests of women's collectives in Argentina, the phenomenon of online marriage, and the right to health for the male population.

Taken together, these works demonstrate the richness of the field of globalization studies from a gender perspective and invite the reader to recognize and explore new lines of research based on History and Contemporary Social Theory. The book seeks to promote reflection on the impacts of globalization on various phenomena that have historically, legally, economically, culturally, and socially transformed the lives of groups of women and men, Latin American societies, and migrants in the United States, among others, who face the global dynamics of capitalism on a daily basis.
