In this book, Enrique Dussel brings together works written over a period of almost ten years in which a common creative deepening is centered on the being and destiny of Latin America. The author has proposed to offer us the mobile unfolding of a thought that seeks itself in the first works, written in Europe since 1962, and that reaches its maturity and plenitude in the years following his return to America.
In these essays, which make up the author's extensive current production, one can see the passage from contemplative reflection to active commitment to history, which leads Dussel to a cultural rethinking and to try, fruitfully, to think in Latin American terms.
