Doctor honoris causa of the Universities of Fribourg and La Paz (Bolivia). Visiting Professor for one semester at the universities of Frankfurt, Notre Dame University, Loyola University (Chicago), Vanderbilt University, California State University (Los Angeles), Duke University, Harvard Unversity.
